Taste Washington SpokaneLast weekend, Managing Editor Eric Degerman attended Taste Washington Spokane at the marvelous Davenport Hotel. He spoke with several folks during the event, including Jill "The Thrill" Rider, who has played integral roles in the development of the Spokane wine industry. We met Jill nearly a decade ago when she worked for Caterina Winery, doing marketing, running the tasting room and anything else to help the operation be a success. She moved to Arbor Crest while that longtime winery was transitioning from one generation to another and helped it to stand out. Today, she works for Townshend Cellar, one of the up-and-comers in Spokane. Also in the video, Eric chats with Robin Pollard, executive director for the Washington Wine Commission, and Mike Sharadin of Northwest Totem Cellars in Woodinville.
