Wine Tasting Weekend

Any recommendations for "must-try" or even new wineries to visit this weekend in the Willamette Valley? My wife and I have visited almost of all of them, but if there any we should revisit, we'd love to hear about them!

I would recommend Elk Cove ( and Kramer while you are there), the wine makers loft place in Carlton, and if you want and can afford it, Domain Drouhin and Domain Serene, Argyle, Ponzi, Duck Pond, August Cellars, and jeez the list goes on. Ken Wright makes some of the best Pinot in Or., but so do many places in that area. It's hard to talk about Pinots there as so many boutique and major wineries make very good and great wine. Pinot Noir doesn't get discussed in this forum enough. It truly is a great wine when well made. We tasted a couple of Pinot's in WA at the Chelan barrel last week end. Still the best are made in Or. Ya gotta pay the piper though. I have a hard time with the fact that the excellent Pinots' are very expensive and the pretty good Pinots' are quite expensive and the good and fairly good Pinots' I don't much care for. Although there are exceptions. Bonair in Zillah has an unoaked Pinot that is a very good wine. Ray Sandidge makes a Pinot"Rose" (Great Gams) that I would call a Pinot in the Willammet Valley. Except it's made in Chelan. Well made Pinot Noir is Great wine, but they seem to want a great price for it.
