Joie Wines, Gastropod head to James Beard House

Joie Wines of Naramata, British Columbia, and Gastropod Restaurant in Vancouver will present a dinner March 15 at the James Beard House in New York.

Joie was Wine Press Northwest's 2007 B.C. Winery to Watch.

A flight of Joie wines will be paired with Chef Angus An's menu, titled Modern Canadian Gastronomy.

Heidi Noble, co-owner of Joie (with her husband, Michael Dinn) is the author of Menus from an Orchard Table, a book that draws on her experience running the winery and accompanying vineyard cooking school, which helps to define Okanagan Valley cuisine.
