Columbia Valley storm

I stopped by Barnard Griffin this afternoon, and winemaker Rob Griffin mentioned that a storm was supposed to be coming through the Columbia Valley that has a bunch of growers freaked out.

Well, the wind started to howl an hour ago, and now the rain is coming down hard.

If it blows on through, it should not be a problem. But if it's a prolonged rain, that could be a problem for those who haven't yet brought in their Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling yet.

Update: The storm blew on through, and it's sunny, calm and relatively warm (for October) this morning.
