The Wine Knows

A story today on the New York Times Web site (link might require registration) tells about a container ship that ran aground off the southwest English coast. The big concern is fuel and toxins that could hurt the environment and wildlife.

But check out this photo. Those look like new oak wine barrels, and they are from France. Some still are wrapped in plastic, so I doubt any wine was in them.

But somebody's order for new French oak barrels will be delayed.
