The Wine Knows

We just got home from seeing the new James Bond movie, Casino Royale. Maybe the best Bond yet.

But about halfway through, I leaned over to tell Melissa something, and she further realized just how big of a geek I am.

Bond was on a train having dinner with Vesper Lynd, the Bond girl in this flick. The wine steward pours red wine for the two of them. By the shape of the glass, it would appear they were drinking Burgundy. Yet by the shape of the bottle, they must have been drinking Bordeaux.

Surely, someone as sophisticated as James Bond would never allow anyone to serve a fine Bordeaux in a Burgundy glass!
