Paul Gregutt on the Okanagan Valley

A few weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to be a judge at the annual Okanagan Fall Wine Competition. During this, I got to spend a fair bit of time with Paul Gregutt, wine writer for the Seattle Times.

I've known Paul for a few years, but we've never had much of a conversation because we'll be speakers on panels or passing each other in convention center hallways. Now that he lives part-time in Eastern Washington, we hope to be able to break bread more often and share a few bottles of wine.

Paul wrote a nice column in this week's Times on his visit to the Okanagan, an area he had not gotten to in several years. It's well worth checking out.
