Chatting with Barrister Winery
We have long touted the greatness of Barrister Winery, a boutique producer in Spokane, Wash. Since its first vintage, Barrister has been producing some of Washington's finest red wines, particularly its Cabernet Franc, which has won an astonishing number of awards.
The guys behind Barrister are two attorneys, Greg Lipsker and Michael White, who started making wine as a hobby and grew it into a profession (all while still practicing law).
In addition to the wines' greatness, they also are smartly priced, making them some of the Northwest greatest bargains when you consider price-to-quality ratio.
Eric Degerman, Wine Press Northwest managing editor, recently caught up with Greg Lipsker and chatted with him about Barrister.
